Hi Claire, seems like ages since I’ve contacted you! I was feeling a bit daft about something so just had to tell you. The lavender you sent me AGES ago….well, I didn’t get around to using it at the time, and have been so busy I have only just started using it tonight. It still smells beautiful, and I was sat watching tv tonight while I stripped it all off the stems, and I found the card and present you had put in there! I hadn’t noticed them before as they’d got buried! So, thankyou very much for my lovely brooch, I will put it on my coat tomorrow!

I hope you are both well. I love the doves!

Oh how I wish I could! I have decided to take spring indoors by cutting some daffodils, hopefully that will lift the February blues!

Come to beautiful British Columbia, Canada we have blue skies sun and the remnants of our last snowfall. The birds are singing maybe the bulbs are coming up I don’t know the snow is too deep. About 4C this am but getting warmer this weekend, spring is on its way.

Not at all! It is the playground of the lucky boat owners who don’t have to climb a cliff to get to it! I think when we go in the sumer we will pack a very light lunch and a towel, not the usual ton of stuff that normally comes to the beach with us.

I must admit patterns do not agree with me either! There was a lot of head scratching, rotating of pattern pieces, blood, sweat and tears! But worth it in the end.

Nice to hear from you!!! Loving the costumes – wish I could follow a pattern. I do loads of sewing but only from memory – I seem to have a bit missing when it comes to patterns….happy new year!
